A gift of life

Some beautiful friends of mine recently had their first child, an adorable baby girl. *yeay!*
I got the gumption to make a gift for the baby and decided on this cool crocheted hooded blanket (which my husband calls a Jedi robe). :)

It took me two days to complete and I (and more importantly, the new mama) ended up quite pleased with the finished product.

I see more crocheting in my future. :)
